Come and join us!
There are presently some places available for new boy choristers to join our acclaimed choir. The boys sing at one choral service each Sunday with the choirmen, and the choir also frequently sings in cathedrals all over England as well as occasionally abroad, providing a wonderful musical and educational opportunity, particularly for anyone already learning to play a musical instrument. Choristers joining us should ideally be aged between 7 and 10 years. The boys rehearse on Wednesday and Friday evenings. If you know of anyone who may benefit from joining us, please find details on this website, and contact Michael Emerson:

We are a friendly welcoming choir singing from a full cathedral repertoire. We continue to maintain a good standard, singing at cathedrals both nationally and internationally. We have sung for BBC Radio 3 and Evensong at St. Pauls cathedral. We were invited to sing at Lambeth Palace in 2012 by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Singing is widely acknowledged as being beneficial for the development of the mind and body.
We also welcome male altos, tenors and basses to join us regularly during term time and major festivals at either one or both of our weekly Sunday services (10am Sung Mass, 7pm Evensong). Practices are on Friday evenings at 8pm followed by some drinks in The Kings Head.
